Notice for Un-registered Travel Agents/ Tour Operators, Hotels, Restaurants and Tourist Guides in Islamabad Capital Territory and Gilgit-Baltistan

It has been noticed that number of Travel Agents / Tour Operators, Hotels, Restaurants and Tourist Guides are operating in ICT and Gilgit Baltistan or offering various tour packages through social media platforms i.e. Facebook, WhatsApp etc, without obtaining registration and licensing from the Department of Tourist Services.
It is mandatory for all above mentioned establishments / guides to get themselves registered / licensed under the Travel Agencies Act, 1976, The Pakistan Hotels & Restaurants Act,1976 and The Tourist Guides Act,1976.

It is, therefore, in their own as well as public interest to get their businesses registered and licensed with Department of Tourist Services by 31st December, 2021
Failing which action will be taken under the provision of the Travel Agencies Act, 1976.
